Passed qualifying examination

I am now a PhD Candidate (CPhil) after presenting my PhD Proposal to my Doctoral Committee.

Attended MLHelio25 

I visited the European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC) in Madrid, Spain for the 3rd Machine Learning in Heliophysics (MLHelio) conference. 

Summers 2024 + 2025

Interned at the Aerospace Corporation

With Dr. Tim Guild and Dr. Paul O’Brien, I’m working on a physics-informed neural network using REACH low altitude dosimeter data.

Summer 2024

Attended the ISSS-15 School and IPELS-16 Meeting 

I visited the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics (IPP) in Garching, Germany for the ISSS + IPELS joint meeting.

Joined UCLA’s Clusters Program

I designed and taught a writing intensive seminar for the Clusters Program and now serve as the Teaching Assistant Consultant for Clusters.

2023

Received the NASA FINESST Award

I was awarded the Future Investigators in NASA Earth and Space Science and Technology grant, providing funding for my PhD research.

Summer 2023

Attended the LANL Space Weather Summer School

I worked with Dr. Gian Luca Delzanno researching high alt. nuclear explosions (HANEs) on the Vela Fellowship.

Passed master’s comprehensive examination

MS in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences with specialization in Space Physics

Joined UCLA’s Graduate Writing Center as a consultant

I now consult on all types of genres across all graduate programs at UCLA.

Summer 2021

Joined Professor Jacob Bortnik’s Group

At the end of my 1st year, I officially joined Prof. Jacob Bortnik’s group.

Fall 2020

Started Graduate School @ UCLA

I joined the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at UCLA once more!

2019-2020

Completed my Gap Year @ JPL

I worked with Dr. Evan Fishbein on radiospectroscopy in the  Atmospheric Physics and Weather Group.
